The problem
The work happens where the signal doesn't
Pest control is done in basements, cold rooms, plant rooms and warehouses. That is exactly where a phone drops to no bars, and it is also where the record has to be made: a record written up hours later in the van is a record an auditor can question.
Pestanova assumes no connection. Everything is captured on the handset and held there until it can sync. Nothing waits on a signal.

Point the camera at the trap's code and go straight to its log, with no hunting through a list.

By design
What Pestanova doesn't do
It does not track your location.
The app requests no location permission of any kind. Photos are stripped of camera metadata before they leave the handset, so coordinates cannot travel inside them either.
No advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting, no third-party trackers.
None. The app talks to your employer's server and nothing else.
It is not a timesheet.
Pestanova records the work on the site, not the worker.
The suite
The app is the half you can see
Pestanova does not work alone and is not sold alone. Behind it is Bio-Pest, a pest-management system built on Odoo, and the two ship as one product.
The phone captures. Bio-Pest keeps: the site's zone map, every trap and its QR code, the inspection history, the chemical register, the corrective-action trail, and the documents an auditor asks for. Your client gets their own portal onto it, with the reports in it, and no Odoo licence to buy.

The record your auditor asks for
What a technician captures becomes the site's inspection history, the chemical register, the trap map and the CAPA trail, and Bio-Pest prints it as the documents a BRCGS or EN 16636 audit asks to see.
The register footers cite BS EN 16636 and BRCGS §4.14, and the Pesticide Application Register opens with the licence number and expiry date of every technician who applied a chemical in the period.
